LIVE STORAGE
Live storage systems are a cost effective method of utilising valuable floor space for
high density storage of materials or finished products. Advanced Engineering have the capability
and partnerships in place that can provide custom designed live racking systems.
Our live racking systems can be used for storage of cartons, tote bins, pallets and
other styles of customised material transfer methods.The live storage system allows product to be
stored for short or long periods always utilising either a first in / first out (FIFO) materials movement system.
This type of racking is ideally suited to FMCG with short shelf life products that requires accurate trace-ability of stock movements. Product is placed into storage rows and flow on a downward gradient to the other end ready for picking.

DRIVE-THROUGH STORAGE
Drive in racking systems provide another alternative cost effective storage solution for our clients. The racking system allows palletised products to be placed into storage in a high density configuration utilising a First in / last out (FILO) rotation system.
Similar in design to the Live racking system this method is more suited to high density storage of products that do not have a short shelf life or do not require accurate stock rotation such as FIFO.
Product is placed into the rack and stacked from the rear face back towards the front face of each row of the racking. As required the next available pallet is easily picked or added to within each row.
